Fly Into Fall - Hillsboro

Fly Into Fall with a paper plane contest! All ages are welcome to join and compete!

When: Sunday September 13, 2026                 

Time: 3pm

Place: Church on The Hill 

Prize(s), including a Chili's gift card, will be given for the best plane(s)!*

Upon arrival you will receive instructions and a packet with all of the supplies you will use for your practice planes and contest plane. Then there will be step by step walk through and examples of how to fold a few different types of paper airplanes followed by a little practice time. After practice is complete, everyone will make and decorate their final plane for the contest out of ONLY the materials provided.** Finally, it will be time to compete! Winners and prizes will be announced immediately after the completion of the competition!

Praise and Worship will follow shortly after the competition is complete.

Children under 15 must have a parent or responsible adult in visible range of event at all times. Children under 10 or those with special needs can be assisted by 1 parent and count as 1 person for the contest. Group rates are available when entering multiple people. There is also a team option for 3 to 4 people. 

If your family wants to participate, but cannot afford to pay for everyone, please message me for special arrangements.  

*   The number of categories and prizes are dependent on how many contestants register before the event day. One Chili's gift card is guaranteed. 

**  All materials for the practice planes and competition planes will be provided. The competition planes must be made from the materials provided. No outside materials are allowed to keep the contest fair.
